Join us, along with Michigan Medicine’s Center for Bioethics and Social Sciences of Research and University of Michigan Law School, for an important discussion on the role sex and gender play in evaluating firearm restrictions and developing the boundaries of the nascent Second Amendment right. We are excited to welcome Dr. Michael R. Ulrich to Ann Arbor for this important conversation.

This presentation will look at how theoretical constructs based on sex stereotypes and gender hierarchy help expand the Second Amendment while simultaneously obscuring the threat this poses to women, especially those who are pregnant.

Note: Registration is required for in-person attendance to ensure adherence to venue capacity limits.

A livestream option will also be available via a Zoom webinar ID: 958 7441 9390;
registration is not required for virtual attendees.
