Project Coordinator

M-FLIP seeks a highly skilled Project Coordinator to work closely with the M-FLIP team to help develop, design, and conduct M-FLIP projects, trainings, and product development. Key initial activities include developing training/technical assistance materials for ERPO implementers, working with the PI to conduct an assessment of ERPO usage in Michigan, and various administrative tasks. At the intermediate level, activities also include program evaluation for both M-FLIP trainees and for internal M-FLIP review. The ideal candidate is familiar with firearm injury-related laws and policies, particularly around ERPO and secure firearm storage, is a strong and robust communicator, and has experience working with firearm injury prevention research or related fields. Research Investigator

The Institute is seeking a highly motivated Research-Track Faculty member that will work with other researchers and stakeholders within and outside of the University. Research Track Faculty can include Research Investigators, Scientists, or Professors. This Research Investigator position is a full-time Ph.D., non-tenure track research faculty position with a background in social and behavioral science or related fields and advanced statistical analysis skills to expand our team at the Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention. Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention is seeking to build a diverse cadre of postdoctoral research scholars. Individuals within this program will undergo a two-year multidisciplinary training postdoctoral fellowship in the science of pediatric firearm injury prevention. This fellowship will allow them to develop academic careers as independent research scientists making significant contributions to our understanding of this public health disease, as well as to developing and rigorously testing evidence-based prevention strategies.
