The University of Michigan Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention recently received funding from the National Institute of Nursing Research to launch a training program for nursing and other allied health researchers focused on firearm injury prevention research. The Summer Research Fellowship Training Program will focus on building the next generation of nursing and allied health scholars in this space by providing hands on learning experiences, learning seminars, mentorship and career development opportunities.
