EVENT: “Reducing the Risk: Firearms and Mental Health”

Experts from the University of Michigan Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention will discuss tips about safe firearm safe storage and how to leverage the “red flag laws” now available in Michigan and other states.

The panelists will also share additional prevention strategies, and give insight into what further research and implementation are needed to ensure effectiveness of risk reduction.

This session will feature three experts:

Victor Hong, M.D.
Mark Ilgen, Ph.D.
