The discussion is open to the public and will share information on safe firearm storage, how to share messaging around safe firearm storage and Michigan’s new safe firearm storage law.
Panelists include: Cynthia Ewell Foster, clinical associate professor, Department of Psychiatry and Director of the community engagement core at the Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention; Stephen Oliphant, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention; and Sarah Derwin, Health Educator at the Marquette County Health Department.
