Last March, members of the Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention were in Lansing to discuss research on firearms always as part of the discussion following multiple tragedies of firearm violence that struck our state. Since that time, multiple bills have passed the Michigan legislature and have been enacted to address deaths from firearm violence.
Now, presented in partnership with the Joyce Foundation, hear from the Chair of the Senate Committee on Civil Rights, Judiciary, and Public Safety and members of the Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention team on what the newly enacted laws mean for Michigan and what is next on the horizon in a panel discussion moderated by Former Senator Buzz Thomas.
