Former Institute faculty member Michelle Degli Esposti, PhD, participated in a webinar with the National Collaborative on Gun Violence Research to share information from a study conducted while she was with the U-M team. Dr. Esposti highlighted significant regional differences in suicide and homicide rates, and shared insights into geographical hot spots where firearm homicides and suicides have increased or decreased with unusual speed.
