Dr. Jason Goldstick speaks with NBC News about his 2022 paper which found firearms surpassed motor vehicle crashes as the leading cause of death among children and teens following multiple mass shootings.

According to the findings, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, firearm deaths, which disproportionately affected young Americans, increased by 33 % from 2019 to 2020.
