“Advance Peace Lansing violence disruption strategy (APL)
● Outreach and education to youth who are most at risk of involvement with gun violence by conducting and/or coordinating classes, workshops, trainings, and relevant activities for Fellows, within schools, and in community settings, that teach youth nonviolent conflict resolution skills.
● Develop and implement community violence intervention models by deploying Peacekeepers and Neighborhood Change Agent/violence interrupters/street outreach staff
● Counseling to address and heal trauma, peer mentoring to provide guidance and positive role models for youth.”
