Support
In Michigan, Byrne SCIP is administered through the Michigan State Police (MSP) Grants and Community Services Division, ensuring strategic oversight and support for participating organizations. Michigan Byrne SCIP places strong emphasis on multi-sector collaboration, bringing together government agencies, community-based organizations, and academic institutions to develop, implement, and evaluate violence prevention strategies. This project is supported by Grant #15PBJA-23-GG-00017-BSCI and 15PBJA-24-GG-02921-BSCI awarded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.
